Terms & Conditions Deposits & Balance Payments : Deposit payments are accepted by Venmo, Zelle, Square/Cash App or Apple Pay. Credit cards, pre-paid cards or PayPal will be accepted for your convenience and will incur a 3.75% fee on all transactions. The deposit amount is deducted from the total. Debit cards are not accepted. If you prefer, you may pay the deposit via Cashier’s Check, Money Order or Business Check. Personal Checks are not accepted. However, it is recommended that the deposit be paid by one of the electronic options to avoid losing your preferred character, date and time. If mailing a company check, it must be received in our office within 5 business days in order to hold the date. We will not hold dates due to late checks. Once the check has cleared, your event will be considered “booked”. We do not accept cash deposits nor do we pick up checks or allow drop offs. We do not have a brick and mortar office. Payment of Balances: Balances are due to the performer or assistant in CASH at the event. ​ If client is a representative of a school, government office or business arrangements can be made to pay by company check or credit card. All balances must be paid no later than 5 business days prior to the event. Failure to pay the balance on time may result in cancellation of the event entertainment. Cancellations, Refunds and Rescheduling : We understand that life happens and you may need to cancel or reschedule your party/event. If you need to reschedule your party, please let us know as soon as possible. ALL deposits are non-refundable. However, you are able to put your deposit toward a new date within 6 months of the original date if cancelled a minimum of 7 days before the original date and time. ​ ​*Deposits are only refunded for city, county or state mandatory lockdowns or curfews or when our company must cancel the event due to an unforeseen, critical circumstance which deems our company is unable to provide the character/service on the agreed upon date and time. ​ Outdoor Party Policy: Outdoor venues are always welcome! However, if you are planning an outdoor event, always have a backup plan in the event of bad weather such as, but not limited to sprinkling, rain, high winds, etc. Because of the delicate and expensive nature of our costumes, gowns and wigs, we will not be able to do an outdoor event if there is sprinkling, rain, dirt, mud, standing water or high winds or in extreme heat or cold temperatures. Please plan accordingly. ​ Responsibilities : Supervision Policy: During the time frame reserved with our performers, all children, persons, and materials at the event must be supervised by you, the Client at all times. This is to ensure that our performers are treated respectfully, children and adults are well-mannered, and no damages are inflicted upon our property. Client agrees to be present during the entire time of our visit and if necessary, be able to step in to help maintain well-mannered children and respectful adults. We never anticipate any issues, as we have wonderful clients, however it is important to understand that our performers are entertainers and not caregivers, therefore the client must be present. ​ Attendance Limits: We DO NOT have an attendance limit for our Meet & Greet Packages. Basic Packages, however and Deluxe Packages with ONE Character do have attendance limits. More children prove to be difficult for ONE performer to conduct all activities, keep the children’s attention, complete all activities and effectively manage the group. Additional characters or assistants can be added to accommodate more children. ​ *Mascots are unable to supervise children and therefore are not considered “performers” in reference to attendance limits. For deluxe packages, the party assistant can accommodate the same as regular characters. *Our parties are priced by time, not the number of activities performed. *Assistants wear a company shirt. Pets are not allowed in the vicinity of the performer/s. Smoking is not allowed in the vicinity of the performer/s. ​ Please note that mascot characters do not speak. They are accompanied by a chaperone or party host to run activities. This maintains character/costume integrity. There is a per mile/fuel travel fee for all events outside of our 15 miles radius. This covers travel for one performer and one staff member/assistant (if applicable). Two or more characters/staff members will incur an additional charge. However, you can be assured that our performers will treat your home and guests with respect and care. It is the responsibility of the guest and/or the guest’s parent/guardian to inform you, the client of any allergy restrictions and take the appropriate steps to avoid contact with such items. What Happens at an Encanto Party? *Activities may vary slightly by performer, intertest level of the group & time frame. Here is a sample itinerary of a typical parody princess party, based on the client's chosen activities: ​ Your favorite Encanto Character will arrive at your door to themed music to surprise the birthday child & her guests! It will truly be a magical "Madrigal" surprise He or She will be the picture of perfection, from our authentic looking costumes, their gorgeous hair & makeup, to their knowledge of the characters. Once they enter, will spend a few minutes meeting the birthday child one on one & mingling with her & her guests, giving them all a chance to say, "Hello". After Meet & Greet time, it is suggested that you take family & group photos . Taking most of the essential family photos with your character now ensures that you get all the photos that you want. This also gives time for any shy children to get comfortable & "warm up" to the character. ​ If you are choosing a 90 min Package with Mini Makeovers or 2 hr. Deluxe Package with Face Painting, your character will begin with this activity. (It takes approximately 30 min for Mini Makeovers and 50-70 minutes for face painting when having 15 children.) Next, your Encanto Character or characters will lead the kids in interactive story telling while they recount the story of the Encanto & the Madrigal Family. ​ Does it Matter How Many Guests I Invite? Yes is does! To get your business, many other companies will boast that they can "do it all" with no attendance limit. Not so! If it sounds too good to be true, is usually is... ​ You are paying good money for your character and we believe that you want an entertaining and professional experience. No? EXACTLY! No professiona l performer can paint 20-30 children in an hour AND play 1 -3 organized party games, sing songs, do storytime or character chat, do princess or superhero training, and take photos with family and guests, all within 1 hour (At least not in a professional manner)! Think of it this way: ​ F ace painting takes approximately 3-4 minutes per child (e ven by professional artists), games take approximately 10-20 minutes per game, storytime/singing/themed activities take approximately 20-30 mins and photos take anywhere from 5-15 minutes depending on the needs of your group. Oh! And let's not forget the cake and singing of "Happy Birthday"! So, in essence, a package with face painting & activities with 16- 25 children would take approximately... 90 mins to 3 or more hours! ​ Truth: You will have a much better experience if you keep within the recommended number of children. Plus, your performer will be able to give the birthday child more individual attention when there are fewer children in attendance. And that's important! For these reasons, we believe in being up front and honest with you about what activities can feasibly be performed in a particular time frame and suggest adding more help if having more than the recommended amount of children. ​ Our Package Limits ​ Our Meet & Greet Packages do not have a minimum of participating children. This package is a "photos only"/"meet & greet" package designed for large events with 100+ guests or for clients who simply want a character appearance. Feel free to invite as many guests as you'd like! ​ Our Basic & Deluxe party packages have a recommended maximum of 15-20 children depending on the chosen character & desired activities. These limits are not arbitrarily made and have been determined after 30 years of experience working with groups of children. Simply stated: too many children proves to be too difficult for 1 performer to handle in an organized fashion. Also, most activities are designed for smaller numbers of children, forcing your performer to omit or change activities at your event, and that's no fun ! ​ So, when planning your event entertainment , m ore is not always better! Too many children can be hectic, making it difficult for the performer to conduct activities, stay in character and give the top notch performance we are know for. ​ *2 hr packages with Face Painting can accommodate 15 children and still leave some time for activities and photos. More children proves to be too many to paint within the given time and will leave less time, or even no time, for activities and photos. **Performers are not professional face painters and are not "speed painters". If wanting a professional level face painter, please hire a professional artist. ​

What Happens at a Parody Superhero Party? Here is a sample itinerary of a typical Superhero Parody party, based on the client's chosen activities: Our superhero parties are based around training everyone to become real life superhero’s. After your superhero arrives he/she will greet the birthday child & all of their guests. After the initial surprise, they will then pose for photos with everyone who'd like a photo; family photos first of course! Your superhero will then gather all of the children for an interactive superhero chat. After a short agility warm up to get their bodies ready for the superhero challenges, your superhero will lead your guests in hero-themed Superhero Training. *If choosing a Deluxe Package, your superhero will then lead the children in some fun party games with small prizes for all participants. Following the activities, if included in your chosen package, your superhero will then apply themed tattoos for all of the children. During the last 10 minutes, they will assist with cake cutting, singing of "Happy Birthday" with your guests. Superhero Training Academy Not everyone can save the world – you need to be strong enough to hold up buildings and fast enough to outrun danger! Your Superhero will teach your little guests how to move just like a superhero – in fact they’ll be taught everything they need in order to save the world! Activities may include but aren't limited to: relay races, obstacle course, tug o war, musical mats & character themed exercises. Here are some examples of themed activities. Actual activities performed vary by performer: Spider web game With yarn or pool noodles, your superhero may form a mini obstacle course for the children to crawl and climb through! Kryptonite pass the parcel A twist on the fun game Hot Potato, the children pass the parcel containing "Kryptonite"as quickly as they can because Kryptonite is poisonous to superheroes! Always fun for the kids! Superhero Tug-o-War The ultimate test of a superhero’s strength. The children will have fun tugging & pulling to prove that they are the strongest. Then the superhero will have a one on one tug-o-war contest with the birthday child, with the birthday child always winning, of course!
